We travel by minibuses with guaranteed window seats for each guest. Travel is over some remote rugged roads and tracks. There are some unavoidable long travel days with frequent stops for rustic outdoor bathroom breaks and picnic lunches.

Outside of the big cities, hotels and guest houses in this region are quite simple and basic. Local conditions make air conditioning, fans, and electricity sporadic. A flexible attitude toward accommodation will go a long way!

For those who prefer connectivity throughout their adventure, it is sometimes possible to purchase a local SIM card for your phone.
